Welcome to my genealogy blog! I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and researcher. I am many other things as well but these titles are some of the most important to me.
I am usually found about 5 steps behind my very active daughters. I try to set aside time for myself each day. During those moments you will usually find me working on my family history. I was bit by the genealogy bug in the late 1990’s as a college student and have been addicted ever since. The thrill of the hunt and new finds keeps me on my toes. I love finding those little details about my ancestors life that helps paint a full picture. It is so interesting to see how the events in their lives has helped to shape mine.

Hi Cousin! Are your Strickler’s the ones who stayed in Pennsylvania? I know my gateway ancestor, the Abraham you mention, lived in Pennsylvania for a few years (and owned land) before moving to what is now Page County, Virginia. Have you done a DNA test? It would be cool to compare results. Sierra
Hi! Came across this while looking for my great uncle’s records. I’m a Ciamporcero (grandfather and father) and Avetta (grandmother). Have visited Cossano several times and connected with our wonderful families there. Lots of them. The town is full of Ciamporceros, Avettas, Voglianos, and Gianottos. Are you on FB?
